Piarco International Airport (POS) is located approximately 20 miles east of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. A leading Caribbean airport, the airfield is the main aviation gateway into the archipelago. Piarco International Airport (POS) is a hub for Caribbean Airlines. Other carriers providing scheduled flights to Trinidad include major companies like American Airlines, British Airways and United Airlines as well as low-cost airlines such as JetBlue and WestJet. The North Terminal is the main building handling passenger arrivals and departures. The landside portion has a duty-free shopping mall and a large, glass-domed atrium for viewing the surrounding countryside. The airside portion of the terminal is a Y-shaped concourse. While one wing handles flights to and from Tobago, the other concourse is designated for international flights. You can reach Port of Spain from the airport by bus or taxi, which costs approximately $10.

Trinidad is also home to the National Museum and Art Gallery as well as the Chaguaramas Military History and Aerospace Museum.
