Making your way to Houston’s Airports

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IHA) is big and busy, with 5 large terminals. You can travel from one terminal to the next airside, without having to pass back through security. Terminals A, B, and C are lined by a bus service, while Terminals B through E are further connected by the handy TerminaLink train. If you decide to drive to the airport, give yourself at least an hour’s time to get from downtown Houston to IHA, more if you’re anywhere near rush hour.

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is a much smaller airport, and a favorite of locals because of its ease and close proximity to the city. It’s only 10 miles away, and if you don’t hit traffic you can drive from downtown to HOU in about 20 minutes. It’s a great airport for short flights, and Southwest’s major presence here means that flying from HOU is often the cheapest option. You can take the bus to the airport as well, just catch route 88. There is free WiFi throughout the airport, and two separate pet relief areas.

Arriving in Las Vegas

Everything about Las Vegas screams extroversion: the lights, the fast pace, the sense of limitless possibility and dizzying risk.
