What is the Great Wolf Lodge?
Great Wolf Lodge is one of the world’s largest indoor water parks. Founded in 1997 by brothers Andrew and Jack Waterman, The Great Wolf brand has grown with over 17 locations and counting. Water Parks and Attractions
Water Parks
The Water Park has no shortage of exciting slides. For older kids, there’s the Howlin’ Tornado, which stands 6 stories high and creates a funnel for groups of four to slide down.
Younger kids will love the Fort Mackensie, which looks like a tall water tree house and features water toys, slides and a giant dumping water bucket on top.
Adventurous kiddos are sure to enjoy the Hydro Plunge, a 52 foot drop slide with tubes that twist and turn.
For kids (and adults) who would like to relax, there’s a Hot Springs area with warmer pools and hot tubs.
Activities
The Great Wolf staff works tirelessly to keep kids entertained throughout their stay. There are Character appearances at various events like Wake Up with Wiley, Lunchtime Lineup or the Nightly PJ Party.
You’ll also find animated shows at the Great Clock Tower and forest friends who sing songs and tell stories before bedtime or in between water slides or arcade games.
Attractions
MagiQuest turns Great Wolf into your child’s own personal playground. They can choose a magic wand and embark of the realm of Vellara. Battle Charlock, Befriend Pixies and even defeat a Goblin King.
If your child loves to bowl, they’ll have a blast at Ten Paw Alley, a full functioning Bowling Alley with shorter lanes and smaller bowling balls. After a game of bowling, you can take them to Howl at the Moon Mini Golf, where they can enjoy a blacklight mini golf experience.
Fitness and Spa
You don’t have to leave your health and wellness behind you when you take your family to Great Wolf. Burn some calories at the state-of-the-art Iron Horse Fitness Center, which is full of flat screen tv’s and cardio/weight equipment.
When you’re ready for some time away from the kiddos, treat yourself to a massage, skin treatment, or manicure at the Elements Spa Salon. If you’d like to give your child a glimpse of spa life, you can book a kid-friendly manicure or beauty scrub at Scoops Kid Spa.

Standard Rooms:
A variety of king, queen and sofa bed suites offered. Some suites with living rooms and fireplaces are available.
Maxiumum: 6 People
Themed Rooms:
Different themes including Tent, Cave and Cabin are available. Some rooms offer bunk beds along with king, queen and sofa bed accommodations. Whirlpool and fireplace rooms are options too.
Maximum: 7 People
Premium Rooms:
These rooms are the largest. Rooms titled Loft Fireplace Suite and Royal Bear Suite are only a few of the options.
Maximum: 8 People
All Suites offer Handicap Accessible Rooms.

Book a Massage
Yes, the Great Wolf was designed for kids. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t relax while you’re there. Treat yourself to a massage or facial at the spa. After all, you deserve a little pick-me-up after committing to a family trip at a waterpark resort.
Go During the Week
If your schedule allows you to, go during the weekdays. You can save money and enjoy less chaos.
Bring Friends
While the Great Wolf Lodge is a great place for kids, it can also be fun for you and your friends. Consider planning a trip with friends so you can make some adult memories as well.
Pack Food
Yes, there will be plenty of restaurants at various price points at the resort. But, if you’d like to save some serious cash on some meals and snacks, you may want to bring food to store in the in-room microwave and mini fridge.
Splurge on a Suite with Privacy
If you can, book a suite with enclosed bunk beds or a separate loft bedroom so you can relax a bit with your sweetie after a long day of kids and water.

Are rollaway beds available?
Yes! Great Wolf knows that rollaway bed are often useful for larger families and groups. Up to one rollaway bed is complimentary per suite. Keep in mind that they are not an option for a select few suites.
Does Great Wolf provide Pack ‘n Play cribs?
Yes! However, if you want one, you can’t wait long because Pack ‘n Play cribs, which are free and first come, first serve. They do run out during busy times.
Is there childcare available?
There are no free babysitting or childcare services. We know this won’t be too much of an issue though because you’re sure to have a blast making great memories with your kids.
How does the Great Wolf ensure cleanliness?
The housekeeping staff works tirelessly to ensure that each suite is thoroughly clean. Also, green water chemicals and cutting-edge water treatment equipments are used to ensure the utmost sanitation.
What is storytime?
Your child is sure to love storytime. They can get into their PJs and come down to the lobby for bedtime stories read by one of our team members.
Can I do anything special for my child’s birthday?
If your son or daughter will be celebrating their birthday during their time at the Great Wolf, a birthday party package for them and their friends is the way to go. It’ll include an hour and half of decorated birthday space, cake or cupcakes, pizza, and water park passes for each child.
Do I have to bring my own towels?
The Great Wolf will provide you and your family with towels in your suite and the water park. Of course, you can bring beach towels and cover ups if you’d like.
Is the park all indoors?
While most of the water park will be in indoors, there is an outdoor section so it’s a good idea to bring some sunscreen for you and your family.
Can I rent a cabana?
Yes! Your family can rent an outdoor cabana with seating for four as well as a table, chairs, a flat screen TV, a safe, and playing cards. If that’s not enough, there’s also a mini fridge that’s full of non-alcoholic drinks.
Will there be a locker available?
While there is a locker room with small lockers you can use, you’ll need to keep larger items like your luggage in your room or with our team.
