Tipping in Germany is not as common as the US. This being said, if you are receiving exceptional service, feel free to tip. In some cases, service fees are included, but a little extra is always a nice way to show gratitude. Below is a list of common tipping practices when in Germany.

Taxi
Taxi drivers are not typically tipped in Germany. For amazing service, you can round up to the nearest Euro. Or tip 10% of the final fare, for instance, if the driver is helpful with bags.
Airport Shuttles are not typically tipped. However, you can tip €1 per bag if helped with luggage.
Hotel
Bellhop: €1 to €3 per bag depending on size.
Doorman: €1 perfor hailing you a cab or help with luggage.
If the Concierge books you a reservation or recommends you an activity, tipping them €10 to €20 is polite.
Housekeeping if your room is kept orderly and clean can be tipped €3 to €5.

In Germany, a service fee is generally included on your bill. However, if your server has been incredible, tipping 10 to 15% of the final bill is gracious. Make sure you tip in cash, most tips left on credit card receipts do not go to the server.

Some Tour Guides receive a 10% gratuity for paid tours. Make sure to ask if the gratuity is included. For free tours with guides, make sure you tip. This amount tipped is generally up to you.
