Bermuda
Also referred to as Somer Isles, the island of Bermuda is a British Territory that is located hundreds of miles away from any nearest landmass. Given the location and the fact that the country is home to some of the finest beaches in the world, Bermuda is not a place for travelers interested in a low-cost vacation. However, if you have set aside a modest budget, the rewards of spending a week on this beautiful island are definitely worth it.
The capital city of Hamilton is the island’s main tourist destination, and although lodging and food costs can get quite high, the sights of the dark blue sea from pink sand beaches are absolutely breath taking. Bermuda is the epitome of every tropical paradise, and one place every vacationer deserves to go!

Cheap travel tips
Always book flights to Bermuda at least one month in advance to get the best deals on airfare and hotel/resort rates; large apartment rentals are recommended for groups. Motorbike rentals are a much cheaper and more efficient mode of transportation than the island’s taxi and public bus service. The cost is lower for multi-day rentals ($35 per day for 4-day reservations).
The food at most Bermuda restaurants is expensive, but North Rock Brewing Co. and Specialty Inn have reasonable rates on tasty dishes! The Bermudian Dollar is the official currency, although the U.S. dollar can be used everywhere given its equal value. English is the primary spoken language as well.
