Arriving in Austin
Texas’ state capital is the so-called “Live Music Capital of the World,” and is a regional hub for the technology, music, and film industries. It has six distinct districts, with Downtown featuring the largest bar/restaurant scene.
East Austin is very culturally diverse, and excellent shopping can be found in the Northwest. While here, take a walk or bike ride on the Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail. Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Metropolitan Park, and Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center are all famous attractions worth spending time at!
