Hipmunk Search Engine Shuts Down
Just like Skyscanner, Hipmunk was a meta-flight search engine that would scour the entire web (online travel agencies, airline websites, etc.) to find the best deals on flights, hotels, and more.
Their website has officially announced that the site plans on being inoperative effective as of January 23, 2020.

What is going to happen to my Hipmunk account?
Your account will no longer exist, and you will no longer have any access to it once the site shuts down on January 23, 2020.
What if I have future flight/hotel/car rental reservations booked?
Just like Skyscanner, Hipmunk was simply the search engine you used to find your travel plans. As they were only a third-party service, nothing you booked is actually with Hipmunk.
All responsibility for the booking(s) lies with whatever provider you booked through (ex: American Airlines, etc.).
Are my booking(s) now canceled?
Absolutely not.
Hipmunk simply directed you to the relevant travel provider in order for you to book your travel with them. Once your travel is booked, all responsibility for your reservations is with the provider you booked through.
All issues or questions related to your booking should be resolved with the provider you used to book the travel.
Hipmunk shutting down has no effect on any reservations you made by using Hipmunk to search.
What if I need to access the information on my Hipmunk profile?
Unfortunately, any information on your previous or future booking will no longer be available after Hipmunk is discontinued. If you need help with your reservation information, you should reach out to the travel partner you booked through directly.
