While just being on an island is fun enough for most people, we know you are excited to get out there and explore! The way to approach activities in the Bahamas is to budget accordingly. There are an unlimited number of things to do, but some of the more touristy stuff like dolphin swimming (check out Eleuthera), snorkeling, diving, and deep sea fishing excursions tend to be around $150 per person.
If you have the opportunity to do one or more of these activities, definitely do so! However, a daytrip to the Pirates of Nassau Museum and Garden of the Groves are super budget-friendly (think $12 a ticket). The key is to diversify your journey, as this is the best way to enjoy the islands!

As far as food is concerned, sit-down restaurants that serve American and British dishes cost roughly $20 per plate, in addition to a compulsory 15% tip.
