What to Do in Panama

You don’t have to drive a cargo ship to enjoy the Panama Canal. Built in 1914, this historic site is 50 miles long, and consists of three locks for raising and lowering the boats that pass through its gates.

A bike ride down Amadour Causeway (located close to the canal) offer scenic views of the ocean and the three connected, corresponding islands. The Americas’ oldest city, Casco Viejo, is worth a look as well. Witness vintage Spanish architecture and enjoy your time eating at the local restaurants!
