Delta and 2 other airlines fly daily direct routes to New York, where they land either at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in southern Queens or at Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) in New Jersey.

Newark Liberty’s 3 terminals and rental car lots are connected with AirTrain Newark, which also drops passengers off at the AirTrain Station for connections to Amtrak or New Jersey Transit trains. The trip from the New Jersey Transit Station to NYC’s Penn Station takes about 30 minutes.

ID Requirements

If you’re over 18, you’ll need an approved photo ID to board your flight from Salt Lake City to New York. It should be one issued by a state or Federal agency, with your name, date of birth and an expiration date. The TSA website has a list of acceptable IDs.
