Travel requirements to Mauritius for American citizens

Travelers do not need a visa for Business or Tourism stays up to 90 days. Travelers need a visa for longer stays.

Travelers need a valid passport to enter Mauritius. The traveler's passport must remain valid throughout the traveler's stay in Mauritius.

Travelers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from Mauritius.

Travelers must have proof of accommodation during their stay in Mauritius. If travelers will be hosted by a relative or friend, an original notarized letter of invitation will be requested.

Travelers must complete the All-In-One Travel form before departure to Mauritius. Travelers must complete the form digitally, which will generate a PDF document with a QR Code. A hard copy of the PDF document must be printed and presented to Health Officials on arrival at the airport.

Travelers should consider:

• Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines;
• Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas;
• Routine vaccines including Measles.
