Travelers do not need a visa for Business or Tourism stays up to 90 days. Travelers need a visa for longer stays.

Travelers need a valid passport to enter Colombia. The traveler's passport must remain valid throughout the traveler's stay in Colombia.

Travelers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from Colombia.

Travelers are encouraged to complete a pre-registration form (CheckMig) before departure to Colombia. The form can be completed between 72 hours and 1 hour before travel. Completing the form in advance may reduce waiting times at immigration checkpoints.

Travelers should consider:

• Yellow Fever vaccination;
• Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines;
• Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas;
• Routine vaccines including Measles;
• Yellow Fever vaccination for travelers aged 9 months or older who are visiting areas of Colombia that are not the following: all areas above 2300 meters, the department of San Andres y Providencia, the capital city of Bogota, and the cities of Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena, and Medellin.
