The Metrobus route 992 stops at all terminals and connects the Blue and Orange trolley lines to the airport. Route 992 also connects the Amtrak Intercity and Coaster commuter trains to SAN.

San Diego Airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the Commuter Terminal.
