The ARB in the name comes from the days when this airport served as a WWII Air Force training base. MYR, now a fully civilian airport, serves nearly 1.7 million passengers each year, and is the only South Carolina airport to offer scheduled international flights. It’s a focus city for Spirit Airlines, and also serves United Express, US Airways Express, Delta Airlines, Westjet, Porter Airlines, and Allegiant Air.
