Public transportation offers a direct rail link between The Loop and O’Hare, which runs 24/7, and this can often be the fastest option, especially during rush hour. Chicago Midway Airport(MDW) is a much cosier airport with a single terminal, and it’s also a lot closer to downtown. Hop on a CTA Orange Line train from The Loop, and you can be in the airport in less than half an hour. It’s worth noting that once you get to the Midway Airport stop, there’s a walk of 10 to 15 minutes through a tunnel to the main terminal building.
