Airports in Washington and Orlando

Three airports serve the Washington, D.C. region. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to the city, located just five miles to downtown DC. Multiple airlines fly nonstop from DCA to Orlando, including American Airlines, Delta, jetBlue, Southwest, and United. All flights leave from either Terminal B or Terminal C. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the busiest of the three DC airports, although it is an hour drive from central DC. Seven airlines at BWI offer direct flights to Orlando. Dulles International Airport is about 26 miles west of the city in Virginia and offers a variety of nonstop flights to Orlando.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the primary airport in Orlando and the second busiest airport in Florida. When you arrive from DC, you will leave the aircraft via a jetway that will take you into a gate area in an Airside Terminal. To reach the main terminal for baggage claim and ground transportation, take the one-minute shuttle ride and walk to Level 2. Rental cars, taxis, shuttle vans, and buses are available on Level 1. How to Save Time Flying Out of DC

When flying out of Reagan National, arrive at least two hours before your scheduled flight. Be sure to account for heavy traffic in the city and parking, or check for availability before you arrive.
