Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD), commonly known as Madrid-Barajas Airport, is the main international airport in Madrid. Located 11 miles northeast of the city, the airport is the largest airport in Europe by size and the sixth busiest. Madrid-Barajas Airport has four passenger terminals that are linked by transit buses. Two airports serve the city of Rome: Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO) and Ciampino Airport (CIA).
