Clinton Presidential Center and Library is located along the river in the heart of downtown. A walk through the Presidential Park Wetland takes visitors to a special location that offers a glimpse of "La Petite Roche," a riverside outcropping for which the city is named. To view the historic marker placed on a portion of the famous “little rock,” head to the Junction Bridge Pedestrian Walkway. Adjacent to the Junction Bridge walkway is the River Market, which most locals think of as the center of activity downtown. A hub for restaurants, shops and live music venues, the River Market is just steps from downtown's finest hotels.
Art lovers won’t want to miss the Arkansas Arts Center, which is tucked away in MacArthur Park on the south side of downtown Little Rock. MacArthur Park also features an off-leash dog run and a Korean War memorial.
