Flying Out of Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City International Airport is about five miles northwest of downtown Salt Lake City. It's easy to get a non-stop flight from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles. Airlines that fly this route include Southwest, SkyWest, Compass, Alaska, and Delta. The airport has two terminals for domestic travel. Depending on your airline, you'll fly out of either terminal 1 or terminal 2. Both terminals feature a wide variety of shopping and eating options, including food courts. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport.

Arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

LAX is the second busiest airport in the United States, and the fifth busiest in the world. The airport is less than 20 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles. The airport has nine terminals arranged in a u-shaped configuration, with parking structures located in the middle. The terminals are two-story with the lower level for arrivals. You'll also find baggage claims on the lower level of each terminal.
