If you’re connecting between the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and Los Angeles, you have plenty of options for flights.  Airlines flying direct from Las Vegas McCarran International to Los Angeles International include United, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and Virgin America, with the flight time averaging just over an hour and a quarter.

Las Vegas and Los Angeles are in the same time zone, so you won’t have to worry about missing anything when you arrive in L.A.  Due to its location in the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas features dry weather and clear skies all year round.  The summer months from June to September are very hot, with average highs often reaching over 100°F, and lows usually staying above 80°F.  Winter is milder, with highs never reaching much below 50°F, and lows only occasionally reaching freezing.  L.A., by comparison is more temperate though still very warm, exhibiting a warm, dry summer and a slightly cool, rainy winter.  Average highs are in the low 80s in summer, and upper 50s in winter.
